Hi guys, I justed wanted to share my experiences with the 'distance learning' classes. They are an amazing tool to improve.
I am following the online classes and it feels good doing the lessons under the guidance of Eli. Then you go ahead and practise the stuff on your own. And over time you get the feeling of 'knowing' what and how to do the movements.
However, it is one thing to generally remember how the hands and feet move, where the weight shifts and the waist turns and thinking you are doing all of the stuff. Even when taking a video of yourself you spot some of your own glitches. And then you think you've got it and do it 'your right way'. But it is a totally different thing if someone from the outside has a look at you and points out your specific mistakes or wrong understandings.
And this is what Eli perfectly does with his distance learning lessons. It is an invaluable kind of feedback, tailored specifically for you - as everyone of us is different. And Eli is awfully good in noticing and naming/showing the issues and providing hints and corrections.
For me, this kind of feedback really boosts my progress. I can only recommend everyone to every now and then get some 'direct' feedback. Well, there is nothing to replace real hands-on as in a workshop - but really this is the next best to it.
Thanks Eli for this service.
Keep on practising.
